How it works

SELLERS

1. Sign Up: Click on “Become a Vendor.”

2. Set Up Your Store: Follow the set-up wizard to complete the process.

3. Verification Documents: Provide relevant verification documents to complete the process. Acceptable documents include a national ID, passport, or business registration certificate.

4. Start Selling: Once approved, start selling on Lizulu and grow your business.

Fees and Commission

5. Vendor Registration:

   – In the meantime, vendor registration is free.

6. Commission per Sale:

   – The commission for products sold on Lizulu is 4%.

Eligibility of Vendors

– Vendors include all eligible individuals or registered institutions legally allowed to do business under the laws of Malawi and their respective countries.

– Approved vendors must provide verification information for their identity.

– Individual sellers must ensure their registered name matches their government national ID or passport.

– Withdrawal details through the bank, Airtel Money, and Mpamba must match the details in the National ID or passport.

– Sellers must not receive payments outside the platform’s checkout.

– Vendors must be transparent, providing correct information about the product’s condition.

– If a product is used (second hand), the seller must specify any defects or problems.

– Vendors selling branded products must specify whether they are originals or copies.

Payment Withdrawals

– Withdrawals are made on the 20th of every month.

– The minimum revenue eligible for withdrawal is K100,000.

Withdrawal Methods

– Withdrawals are made through the method selected during setup.

– Available options include bank transfer, PayPal, Airtel Money, and Mpamba. For sellers in China, Alipay, WeChat, and UnionPay are accepted.

How Selling Works on Lizulu.com

1. Buyer adds a product from your store to the cart.

2. The buyer completes the transaction by paying through checkout.

3. Your store registers the sale and the buyer’s shipping details.

4. You ship the product, and the buyer is notified.

5. The buyer has up to 7 days to report if the parcel is not received (for local sales).

By default, after 7 days, all transactions will be registered as successful, and your revenue will be ready for withdrawal.

What Can Be Sold on Lizulu.com?

– As a marketplace for both physical and digital products, the number of items that can be sold is endless, with few exceptions.

– All products acceptable under Malawian law can be sold on this platform.

– Illegal products cannot be sold on the platform.
